Today we will focus on the power of Forgiveness and especially on Forgiving Yourself! Self-blame is one of the most toxic forms of emotional abuse. It amplifies our perceived inadequacies, whether real or imagined, and paralyzes us before we can even begin to move forward. So, if we want to UPgrade our lives and well-being we also have to practice forgiving ourselves.
A beautiful and powerful mantra that can help you with forgiveness is 'Ho'oponopono', an ancient mantra from Hawaii, created by a therapist named Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. He cured an entire ward of criminally insane patients, without ever meeting any of them or spending a moment in the same room. He reviewed each of the patients’ files, and then he healed them by healing himself through repeating the mantra.
This mantra not only helps you to forgive yourself but also forgive others.
It's a self-healing practice that empowers you to take full responsibility for your own life and creations and deletes repeating problem patterns and programs from your subconscious.
The Mantra is: I am sorry, Please forgive me, I love you, Thank you.
I am sorry (for the imperfections in my/the world), Please forgive me (for the imperfections in my/the world), I love you (to yourself/ to the universe), Thank you (for the opportunities to heal these imperfections). You can change the order of these sentences. Make it fit for you!
And if repeating all four sentences feels like to much - Saying only 'I love you' to yourself is already a very powerful clearing and healing statement.
In the video below the mantra and it's intent is further explained. So if it resonates, have a look!
I am sorry, Please forgive me, I love you, Thank you,
